The lecture focuses on the issues of the changing global order and South–South cooperation, with particular emphasis on African–Chinese relations. The conference examines whether African states are genuinely expanding their capacity for independent action within the current geopolitical transformation, or whether new forms of dependency are emerging amid the international competition for resources and markets.
The official language of the conference is English.
